A plague on my house for my lengthy absence. Been busy beyond belief (you'll soon find out why). Goes to show what happens when I leave the blog in the hands of my "trusty" assistants. Yeesh. Heads did role.
In any case I'm back with three tasty new tidbits for your insatiable appetite. Seems there's evidence of a cyclops shark pup, a "kraken's lair," and some Russian "Snow Man" hair and prints. Here are my thoughts: the shark's a rarity to be sure, but represents a genetic misstep rather than a new species. The ichthyosaurs vertebra pavements are cool (did I mention the role that this creature played a role the ISC's search?) but the postioning would suggest an extremely sophisticated kill the likes of which I'm not sure the giant squid would pull off (I might just check in with my biologist buddies about that statement, though). And as for the Yeti...once again, where's the report? So tired of so-called scientists claiming finds without following through with a specimen assessment. Get back to me when you've got the goods.
'Till next time...
